CHRIS PARRISH:"I MAKE ROBOTS... AND OTHER THINGS."

Aikobot Maria Standing
Aikobot Maria: My first product at DAZ3d.com(2005)

Chris Parrish, also known as Parris at DAZ3D.com, is a freelance graphic designer, web designer, and 3d modeler residing in Portland, Oregon. With over 20 years professional experience as a freelancer, Chris recently shifted his primary focus towards 3D content development at DAZ3D. If you are a fan of 3D Computer Generated Imagery, and would like to try your hand at making some yourself, download a copy of Daz Studio and check out his store at DAZ3D.

At this time, Chris is mostly engaged in product development for his store. However, he does occasionally have time to throw at other projects. So if you are looking for graphic design, web design, illustration, or 3d modeling  you are welcome to get in touch. You can review some of Chris Parrish's work in the Portfolio Gallery below. Thanks for stopping by!

THE LITTLE ROBOT THAT STARTED IT ALL

Aikobot Maria was the first product Chris Parrish made for DAZ 3D. She was designed to be cute, sexy, and very hi-tech. He is very proud that Aikobot has showed up in artwork all over the web. Many companies, organizations, and individuals have featured her in promotions for everything from phone apps to grocery store ads.

Chris - "For me she started an obsession that I may never finish. Consequently, Aikobot Maria inspired follow-up products like Bot Armor, Aikobot 2, Bot Genesis, and Genesis 2 Female Bot Armor. So I expect there will be more robot creations like her in my future. Furthermore, each time I rework the idea of "Sexy Robot", I'm working out new ways to make my products both desirable and versatile. That's why I often design my robots so that you can use parts, like an arm or a leg, to create your own notion of a cyborg or cyber enhancement.

My sincere hope is that creative people everywhere will use my products to make all kinds of things I never imagined. Encouraging others to be creative is one of the most important reasons why I do what I do. I think the world is a better place with more dreamers in it."
