I MAKE ROBOTS

AND OTHER THINGS

Welcome to the Portfolio Site for Chris Parrish Design, also known as Parris at DAZ3D.com. I’m a freelance graphic designer, web designer, and 3d modeller in Portland, Oregon with over 20 years professional experience. Recently, my primary focus has shifted to product development at DAZ3D. If your a fan of 3D Computer Generated Imagery, or are curious about what I’m doing these days, check out my store at DAZ3D.

Though I’m mostly engaged in product development for my store at this time, I do occasionally have time to throw at other projects. So if you are looking for graphic or web design you are welcome to get in touch. You can review some of my work in my Portfolio Gallery below. Thanks for stopping by!

THE LITTLE ROBOT THAT STARTED IT ALL

Aikobot Maria was the first product I made for DAZ 3D. She was meant to be cute, sexy, and very hi-tech. I’m very proud that Aikobot has showed up in artwork all over the web and promotions for everything from phone apps to grocery store ads. For me she started an obsession that I may never finish, with follow-up products like Bot Armor, Aikobot 2, Bot Genesis, Genesis 2 Female Bot Armor, and more on the way. Each time I rework the idea of “Sexy Robot”, I’m working out new ways to make my products both desirable and versatile, with the hope that creative people everywhere will use them to make all kinds of things I never imagined. Encouraging others to be creative is one of the most important reasons why I do what I do. I think the world is a better place with more dreamers in it.
