This page, as the title says, is all about my recommendations for other businesses you should try. If you’re like me, you place a high value on word of mouth recommendations. Now more than ever, it can be extremely difficult to weed out fact from fiction and determine who you can trust when you need expertise outside of your own purview. I don’t know about you, but for me good advise has been a godsend. The best choices I’ve made about who to trust with my hard earned dollar have often been the ones strongly influenced by someone I know wouldn’t steer me wrong. So here, let me steer you in the right direction.

In the past, I’ve had my share of bad lawyers, inept physicians, and outright dishonest mechanics. Back then I usually found a resource by reading an ad or from someone I’ve since learned really wasn’t in the know. Now I go to friends, family, and other sources I respect and I ask them about the good experiences they’ve had. Since I trust them to be honest and proficient at analyzing the services they received, I figure it is likely I will have a similar experience with the same resource. Over time this has worked well for me. I also like to think I’m a pretty good judge of character with a pretty acute BS meter. But of course, if I ever need a second opinion I ask my wife. Trust me, nothing gets past her.

It probably goes without saying that businesses can’t always be picky about who they do business with. Sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs. But if you are as fortunate as I have been in business, then you do get to choose. I’m very picky about who I work for and with. So the folks who get listed on this page come with my full endorsement, and that means I highly praise their honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship.
